To support the growing and evolving Rust language ecosystem, the Rust Foundation is scaling its marketing and communication efforts, and seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Program Manager to help us realize our goals across marketing, member and community outreach, and training initiatives.

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 (USD)*

Director of Outreach

The Director of Outreach has overall responsibility for the working relationship between the Rust Project and Rust Foundation. A member of the Foundation’s Senior Management Team, they will manage a substantial budget for Rust Project development in collaboration with the Rust Project Leadership Council. The Director of Outreach will be an active communicator within the Project, liaising with its teams and working groups to propose, implement and champion current and new initiatives to sustain, secure and grow the Rust language. The Director of Outreach will advocate for the work of the Rust Project globally and work closely with the Technical and Communications teams to champion the Rust language.
