Rust Foundation Trusted Training Program Launches, Giving Learners a Mark of Quality to Trust

Mainmatter, Integer 32, Wyliodrin, Doulos & Ferrous Systems are announced as founding Trusted Training providers in the Rust Foundation’s new accreditation program.

DOVER, DELAWARE, June 25, 2026 The Rust Foundation, an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the performance, safety, and sustainability of the Rust programming language, today announced the launch of the Rust Foundation Trusted Training (RFTT) program: the first formal accreditation for Rust training providers backed by the nonprofit that stewards the language itself.

“As Rust adoption has accelerated across industries, from systems programming and embedded development to safety-critical infrastructure, the market for Rust training has grown rapidly alongside it,” said Dr. Rebecca Rumbul, Executive Director & CEO of the Rust Foundation. The Rust Foundation Trusted Training program gives learners, employers, and the broader developer community a trusted signal for evaluating Rust training quality. I am delighted that the founding cohort of RFTT providers demonstrates true quality, excellence, and expertise in Rust training.”

About the Program

RFTT accreditation is awarded to organizations that meet the Rust Foundation’s documented standards across five areas: credibility and ethical practices, curriculum quality, instructor competence, transparency and accessibility, and learner evaluation and feedback. Applications are reviewed independently by a committee of active Rust training professionals, with final decisions made by the Rust Foundation Board of Directors.

The program’s criteria and review process were developed in collaboration with a steering committee composed of practitioners with direct experience teaching Rust at a professional level, ensuring the standard reflects what quality looks like in practice.

Accreditation is valid for two years and open to Rust Foundation member organizations with at least two years in business and one year offering Rust training. Independent trainers and micro-businesses (those with three or fewer employees and less than $100,000 in annual revenue) may contact training@rustfoundation.org to explore eligibility options.

Founding Cohort of RFTT Providers:

Mainmatter is a team of Rust experts, led by Luca Palmieri, that helps organizations adopt and build on Rust with confidence. Deep in the Rust ecosystem, Mainmatter organizes EuroRust and created the 100 Exercises to Learn Rust course. Mainmatter offers a wide range of Rust training, from introductory workshops to advanced topics like testing, macros, and C-to-Rust migrations.

Integer 32 is a consultancy that delivers high-quality Rust code. Established in 2016, it was one of the first companies founded to focus exclusively on Rust. Integer 32 can help you evaluate Rust for your problem, build a Rust MVP, and train your developers to get up to speed on Rust.

Wyliodrin is an engineering and training company specializing in embedded systems, low-level software, and safety-critical development. They offer advanced instructor-led training programs in Rust kernel development, Embedded Rust, and Tock OS, designed for engineers working on microcontrollers, secure operating systems, and systems-level software. Wyliodrin’s courses combine deep technical content with hands-on lab work, delivered face-to-face in English, French, and Romanian. Wyliodrin trains engineering teams across automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, with a strong emphasis on memory safety, modern embedded architectures, and real-world applicability.

Doulos is a leading independent technical training provider for engineers working in embedded software, hardware design and verification, and AI and deep learning. Over the past 35 years, they have trained engineers from more than 5,400 companies across 84 countries, delivering high-quality courses in in-person, live online, and self-paced formats. For Rust language training, they currently offer two courses: Rust Fundamentals, which introduces the principles of the language, and Rust for Embedded Systems, which covers the application of Rust to embedded software development. They also regularly organize KnowHow webinars and workshops on a range of technical topics, each including an interactive Q&A session with their experts.

Ferrous Systems is the leading provider of Rust-based consulting, development, and training services to help teams adopt and scale Rust with confidence. They also play a key role in advancing Rust for use in regulated industries through the development of Ferrocene, the first open source Rust toolchain qualified to meet the highest safety-critical standards. Since 2015, Ferrous Systems has trained more than 2,000 developers, including teams from Google, Amazon, and Mozilla. Whether building Rust expertise from scratch or scaling adoption across a team, its training courses are designed to help developers become productive faster. Training materials are also open source and freely available.
