“Everything we’ve built at Astral, we’ve built with Rust, including both Ruff (a fast Python linter and code formatter) and uv (a Python package and project manager), which have grown to tens of millions of downloads per month and seen rapid adoption across open source and enterprise. We view Rust as the future of Python tooling, and investing in Rust via the Rust Foundation is an investment in that future.”

Charlie Marsh, Founder & CEO

adorsys

“Rust represents the future of secure, efficient, and sustainable software development. Joining the Rust Foundation reflects our belief in its transformative power to reshape the industry. Whether addressing security vulnerabilities, cutting carbon emissions, or fostering innovation in emerging markets, we see Rust as a catalyst for positive change.”

John Zeller, Manager Director with adorsys Ireland

The Rust Foundation thanks Astral and adorsys for their membership, which will contribute to our continued stewardship of the Rust programming language ecosystem.
