Rust Foundation Trusted Training Spotlight: Mainmatter
Last month, we announced the launch of the Rust Foundation Trusted Training (RFTT) program alongside our founding cohort of accredited providers. Today, we’re kicking off a series of spotlights taking a closer look at each provider, starting with Mainmatter: one of the earliest organization to ever earn our RFTT designation!
About Mainmatter
Mainmatter is a team of Rust experts, led by Luca Palmieri, who guide organizations through adopting and building on Rust with confidence. Deep in the Rust ecosystem, Mainmatter organizes EuroRust and created the 100 Exercises to Learn Rust course.
Why RFTT?
We asked Mainmatter what drew them to pursue RFTT accreditation. Here’s what they told us:

What They Offer
Mainmatter offers a wide range of Rust training, from introductory workshops to advanced topics like testing, macros, and C-to-Rust migrations (check out their brand publication: The C to Rust Migration Book!) All workshops are hands-on and exercise-driven, with automated solution-checking that frees trainers to spend most of their time giving attendees one-on-one feedback and guidance.

We’re proud to welcome Mainmatter to the program. Mainmatter’s broad catalog of trainings, hands-on approach, and open source learning materials are an important building block of the Rust learning ecosystem.

The Rust Foundation Trusted Training (RFTT) program is a formal accreditation for organizations providing Rust programming language training. Accredited providers have been independently assessed against the Rust Foundation’s documented standard covering curriculum quality, instructor expertise, learner experience, transparency, and ethical business practices.
